Who are they?

About the Vocaloids

Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation that enables users to synthesize singing by just typing in lyrics and melody. (Wikipedia)

Anyway the creators made to each voice database a character which than became famous. Everybody has a role in the vocaloid family which is growing ~ (Meiko and Kaito as big sister/brother, Miku as an idol etc.)
Not only the official ones but by the fans created vocaloids and utauloids. That's an unlimited world so you can join right now :)

    I don't mean to be a prude, but...

    ....You do realize that MEIKO and KAITO have no surnames, right? Their names are just MEIKO and KAITO (yes, capitalized intentionally, as their names are officially spelled). There's no "Sakerune" or "Shion" attached to their names... (Of course, not to be confused with Sakine Meiko, which is a special, revamped version of her character) They aren't even listed on the offical Vocaloid Wikia; they are no more than fanart-based surnames... >.>

    And also, "Megumi Nakajima" is not the name of that Vocaloid. It's Megpoid Gumi; Megumi Nakajima is who recorded the voice banks for her, just like Gackt is the vocal source for Gackpoid Kamui (thus the reason for the "Gack" and "Meg" in their surnames).

    I love that you have lyrics for songs ALL OVER the site (and they're accurate too, from what I can tell!), but you're also spreading incorrect, fan-developed names for some of the characters.
